Veterinary Assistant
Jami Arenz
We are excited to introduce Jami, our newest veterinary assistant, who brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for caring for both people and animals.
Raised on a farm and feedlot in Wauneta, Jami has always had a love for animals. With two daughters, three grandchildren, and a giant furry cat named Mr. Black (who might be more of a baby than he lets on!), family is at the heart of everything she does.

Jami’s journey in the world of care is rooted in her nursing background, and she’s thrilled to use that experience to help animals feel better and stay healthy. Whether it's assisting with soft tissue injuries, surgery, or simply offering comfort, Jami takes pride in knowing she’s playing a vital role in the wellbeing of every animal that walks through our doors.

When she’s not caring for animals, Jami enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and hitting the open road for a good trip. Her outgoing, fun personality makes her a joy to be around, and we are thrilled to have her on board as part of our veterinary team.

We’re confident Jami will be a fantastic addition to our practice, and we know her passion for helping animals and people will shine through in everything she does!

Veterinary Assistant
Kenlee Mackley
We are thrilled to introduce Kenlee, our newest veterinary assistant! Originally from Winona, Kansas, Kenlee is passionate about veterinary care and is excited to continue learning every day while doing a job she loves. She is currently enrolled in the veterinary technician at Curtis!
Her favorite species to work with are cattle, though she finds joy in helping all animals—especially when it comes to wound care. Her keen observation skills make her incredibly attuned to the emotions of both animals and people, allowing her to better understand their needs and provide top-notch care.

Kenlee comes from a large, close-knit family with deep agricultural roots, and they share a love for supporting each other and staying connected. Outside of work, Kenlee and her boyfriend share their home with three dogs—Moonshine, Red, and Pistol—as well as a mare named Annie and four cows of her own.
She loves learning about her clients' pets, and her favorite part of working with pet owners is hearing their stories and building a strong relationship with them. She believes that knowing a pet’s personality makes it easier to offer personalized care.

When she’s not caring for animals, Kenlee’s artistic side shines through. She’s got a creative side hustle painting cattle skulls and vans, and she’s also an avid barrel racer. Whether it’s through art or her work with animals, Kenlee’s passion is evident in everything she does. We know her combination of skill, compassion, and creativity will be a perfect fit for our team!
